Breathtaking Dhyan Badri Yatra
Dhyan Badri is one of the Sapt Badri sanctuaries in Uttrakhand. Dhyan Badri is situated in the Urgam valley close Kalpeshwar. Every one of these sanctuaries fall in the Badri-kshetra i.e. Badri zone. The elevation of the sanctuary is 2135 m.
This place can be come to from Helang Chatti by a 12 km trek. The place is related with the Urvarishi, child of the King Puranjaya, a relative of Pandavas who ruminated here and set up a Vishnu sanctuary. The sanctuary Kalpeshwar is 2 km from here. The symbol is a four equipped made of dark stone in a reflective shape.
